Zoetic Stage Young Artist Program
We believe in developing the next generation of artists in Miami. Zoetic Stage has partnered with local universities to provide professional apprenticeships to college students preparing for career in the theater. By working alongside local professionals, these students gain valuable experience, and are encouraged to stay and develop their careers in Miami post-graduation. Young Artists receive performance and stage management opportunities, one-on-one mentorship, business preparation, and participation stipends.
Our 2017-18 Season presented in the Carnival Studio Theater at The Adrienne Arsht Center, is a continuation of Zoetic Stage's commitment to providing South Florida with new and relevant work in the form of world premieres, works by female playwrights and fresh takes on new classics.
This season includes the Miami premiere of Suzam-Lori Parks' powerful Pulitzer Prize-winning TOPDOG/UNDERDOG, the world premiere of WRONGFUL DEATH AND OTHER CIRCUS ACTS by award-winning Miami playwright Christopher Demos-Brown, the South Florida premiere of the heartwarming DANCING LESSONS by Mark St. Germain, and the highly anticipated South Florida premiere of the Tony Award-winning musical FUN HOME by Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron.
