Zoetic Stage Young Artist Program
We believe in developing the next generation of artists in Miami. Zoetic Stage has partnered with local universities to provide professional apprenticeships to college students preparing for career in the theater. By working alongside local professionals, these students gain valuable experience, and are encouraged to stay and develop their careers in Miami post-graduation. Young Artists receive performance and stage management opportunities, one-on-one mentorship, business preparation, and participation stipends.
Our 20116-17 Season presented in the Carnival Studio Theater at The Adrienne Arsht Center, is a continuation of Zoetic Stage's commitment to providing South Florida with new and relevant work in the form of world premieres, works by female playwrights and fresh takes on new classics.
This season includes the world premiere of AFTER by award-winning Miami playwright Michael McKeever, the South Florida premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, the hilarious world premiere of ¡FUÁCATA! OR A LATINA'S GUIDE TO SURVIVING THE UNIVERSE by Elena Maria Garcia and Stuart Meltzer, THE CARETAKER by Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter.
