Early Childhood Department
1/5
We are delivering access to high-quality learning education (preschools) to ensure children of color enter school at or above the level of their peers and mothers can be gainfully employed.
Our Early Childhood Education programs provide daily age-appropriate educational services to children, ages 0-5, emphasizing social, physical, emotional and cognitive skills and development. Through partnerships with local service providers, our programs ensure our children also have access to mental health, and family support.
Court Care: A Better Place to Be
2/5
Court Care is operated as “an intervention and prevention program” and a safe haven for the children of parents, victims, and/or witnesses involved in court proceedings. This program provides childcare services free of charge. Trauma on children is reduced by the kids being kept away from Court proceedings. Court Care is not just as a safe space for court proceedings, but it is a women’s issues response to victimization/domestic violence in both Miami Dade and Broward counties.
After school, Enter Success Program

Youth Development Programs provides children ages 4-18 with enrichment activities which include the Computer Clubhouse, teen pregnancy prevention, mentoring and drop-out prevention. Since 1976, this program has been a safe and supervised environment that includes age-appropriate academic and enrichment activities for young people. Currently, we operate in ten Miami-Dade County Public Schools and centers from South Miami to North Miami-Dade. Our goal is to redirect youth towards more positive pursuits including technology, peer counseling, tutoring, athletics, cultural and recreational field trips. This year, our program worked with over 190 inner-city youth to help them make a positive contribution to their communities.
