Here is a picture of another IBTG In My Community where students are bringing awareness of the available resources to help the homeless community. We proudly partner with the Miami Dade Homeless Trust as we train and educate high schoolers and college students as they go out as Student Delegate Volunteers every other month.
This is a picture of our Student Delegate Volunteers working to Help Keep Miami Gardens Clean through our Adopt a Road Program. These students come together every other month to help us keep the street that has been named after us to keep it clean.
Our Student Delegate Volunteers through our organization partnered with Senator Daphnee Campbell's D38 Youth Development and Protection Task Force for their Back to School Backpack Giveaway. Over 30 students were recruited as new and returning SDV to help pack over 1500 backs to serve the community of South Florida.
These SDV served in many capacities as they are trained and mentored in hopes of transitioning them from Student Delegate Volunteers to Student Delegate Interns. As Student Delegate Interns, they are awarded high school honors credit and community service hours during a school year for working alongside of our organization and partnering organization (Global Youth Empowerment Movement).
