Young Designers Scholarship Fund
Summer pre-college programs with School of the Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design, The New School, provide sophomore and junior students the opportunity to attend a three-week-long curriculum. Participants also explore cultural offerings in New York City, including museum visits, Broadway shows, sports activities, and city tours. At the end of the pre-college experience, each student receives college credit, valuable faculty connections, and additional work that strengthened their portfolios.
Additionally, the annual Architectural, Industrial Design, and Graphic Design Scholarship Competition challenges students to envision a hub of community engagement and commerce which can include shops, working loft spaces, restaurants, or other white box space.
Competing for scholarship awards, imaginative presentations showcased their talents through interdisciplinary practices, exhibited for the community and judged by professionals within their field.
