A brief history of Unity on the Bay as a catalyst for positive living through its almost 90 years in Miami.
Our Family Ministry supports youth in recognizing their worth and the way they live a life of purpose.
Our multiple community drives support thousands. This year, we provided over 3,400 backpacks to children in need. We also have a Toiletry Drive and Christmas Gift program.
We work with multiple organizations that support the homeless population of Miami, as well as the under-served. We have programs supporting the food and shelter insecure.
We are an inclusive community celebrating all people. One of our Member Drive Ministries is OUT on the Bay, which we support Miami Beach PRIDE, the AIDS Walk and other LGBTQ community events.
Unity on the Bay is a visible supporter of answering the social justice needs of our community. We held the first mass same-sex wedding in celebration of marriage equality. We also led the faith community in supporting protections for the transgender community.
Whether through our weekly services or special events, we have many ways in which we inspire people to lead lives of purpose, passion and giving.
We serve the greater Miami community through multiple outreach programs including feeding the homeless, providing food for the food-insecure, backpack drives, Thanksgiving Day food drives, Habitat for Humanity and many more.
