S.H.E.( Self Confident, Healthy and Educated)
The Program is called: S.H.E. (Self– confidence, Healthy and Educated). The initiative is part of the House of Refugee Empowerment Center, Inc., a non-profit organization committed to provide services to families in distress. Generally, our organization serves as a life coach for personal and professional empowerment to help clients identify and discover their vision, design goals, set action plans and overcome obstacles that may be standing in their way. Through our agency, we help victims of domestic violence and homelessness by empowering them to overcome and lead independent lives. We also help teens struggling at home or in school realize that they are not alone; more than just resolving destructive behaviors, with our assistance we help develop positive decision-making skills, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and cultivate a positive self-image.
