Copper Fest

Copper Fest is is a week-long celebration of arts and culture offering free community outreach events including performances, exhibits, workshops, and lectures.
The first Copper Fest focused on Cuban culture and its African roots encompassing sixteen cultural events throughout venues in the Wynwood Arts District and the Miami Design District of Miami.
Copper Fest continued this year and focused on the cultural demographic of North Miami and its surrounding areas. It took place at MOCA, WJ Bryan Elementary, Miami Dade College - Kendall Campus, Little Haiti Cultural Center, and Spirit&Beyond.
CeramiCommunity

CeramiCommunity offers free arts workshops with local and international professional artists/ professors with the Miami Community bringing senior citizens, kids, and parents together through the arts.
The first CeramiCommunity reunited internationally recognized and award-winning artist, Pedro Pulido, with his principal educator and expert in Afro-Cuban arts, Alexander Carrillo Gonzalez. With the students of Key Biscayne K-8 Community School, they created a permanent mural in the hallway of the school.
This year, we continued the CeramiCommunity project with Pedro Pulido at WJ Bryan Elementary. The project resulted in a mural that will be permanent fixture in the passageway of the school.
Metal Arts Intensive

The Metal Arts Intensive offers free metal arts workshops with local and international professional artists/ professors with the Miami Community. Participants receive a certificate of completion and the opportunity to continue their arts education abroad.
The first Metal Arts Intensive invited Cuban Artist and Professor from the Superior Institute of Art in Havana, Modesto R. Concepción, to teach a Metal Arts Intensive (Workshop Series) to the Miami community free of charge.
Arts & Architecture

Arts & Architecture is an educational travel program that provides an opportunity to connect with Cuba's most renowned artists, architects, historians, and professionals within the communities of Cuba.
This educational travel program and its participants such as members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) has paid the way for creating a mentorship program for architects and ongoing professional collaboration in both countries.
