String Bag Project (SBP) pulls communities together one bag at a time. We do this by:
1) Providing the economically challenged members of our local communities with reusable string bags containing basic necessities such as toothbrushes, tooth paste, soap, shampoo, nail clippers, rain ponchos, razors, tissue, dental floss, and hand sanitizer. Children's bags contain child-appropriate items along with school supplies.
2) Working with and through local shelters and community outreach centers. SBP is also a crisis and emergency resource for south Florida.
3) Working with fellow high school students to allow direct and hands on community service experience.
