Local Nonprofit Organization Outreach
We host a Community Nonprofit Spotlight table that help nonprofit organizations to:
1)Engage the community and garner support for their work.
2)Recruit volunteers and expand their network.
3)Educate market attendees on their missions.
The market provides a 10 X 10 tent, table and chairs, as well as promotion of your organization via our social media accounts and weekly newsletter.
In exchange for this free outreach space, we ask that organizations promote their attendance at our market via social media and/or newsletters. Our goal is that by working together, we can promote the much-needed work they do while also building additional community support for the farmers’ market.
Many of our vendors accept SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as food stamps. It is a federal nutrition program that helps families stretch food budget and buy healthy food.
Children Activities Corner
We run a volunteer-based activity corner for kids small and big. Our young artists paint rocks, faces and enrich us with amazing art & crafts.
Adopt A Plant
Beautiful plants are donated to the market by our generous community on a weekly basis and they are up for adoption at our information desk. These plants are often of a native species, edible, or pollinators.
Environmental Awareness Outreach
We often host speakers and activities to promote healthy habits: healthier diet with fresh local produce, grow your own, reusable bags, care for the planet, the importance of pollinators etc.
