Animals
United Paws of South Florida's Mission is to: 1. Rescue and rehabilitate abandoned, neglected, abused, orphaned and/or surrendered dogs, regardless of age, size or breed and providing temporary safe shelter and medical treatments as needed. When adopting one of our dogs, they will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, vetted, tested for heartworms. 2. Promote and market the dogs in order to identify a permanent new home that will provide a safe and nurturing home environment. 3. Ensure that no dog is adopted for the purposes of breeding or scientific/medical experimentation. 4. Provide education to the public on responsible pet ownership, humane animal care, spay/neuter practices and why adopt and not support the puppy shops.
