Our Director of Youth and Family Advocacy leading the Family Session as part of our The Children's Trust-funded Strengthening Families program. This program has proven to be a valuable resource for parents, who get a raw picture of the pressures that their kids have to deal with in school.
Health Food & Security
We provide access to benefits that supplement household income such as Food Assistance; Insurance enrollment in Medicaid, Florida KidCare and ACA. We also give referrals to preventative health screenings and health resources.
Youth and Family Advocacy
Guidance and support to parents/caregivers dealing with institutions that care for youth. Additional support to youth and families include access to specialized services, as well as academic and enrichment services.
Services include: assessment to identify skill-set and education needs, resume preparation, application support enhancing interview skills, and referrals to employment opportunities
Benefits include: one-on-one assistance; filing the initial unemployment claim; bi weekly benefits claim; and problem resolution with the administering agency.
Our comprehensive financial services include: Free tax preparation for low to moderate income tax payers; Low-Income Tax-payer Clinic services to provide assistance resolving issues with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS); and financial literacy coaching and education.
