Founded in 1988, The Rhythm Foundation, is a not-for-profit cultural organization that is a foremost presenter of international music in the US. The Rhythm Foundation has presented concerts, festivals and events featuring over 800 established and innovative artists from around the world. In 2015 The Rhythm Foundation began year-round management of the North Beach Bandshell amphitheater for the City of Miami Beach. Our mission is to connect communities with the rich musical cultures of the world. We aim to increase global awareness through the presentation of live music as well as build and strengthen the diverse communities in South Florida through consistent shared cultural experiences. The following concert series will be presented in the 2018-2019 season: The LatinX series presents contemporary artists from Latin American countries and heritages who are representing Latin music as it paves it path into modernity. The Masters series presents legendary artists from around the world. The Festival In The Desert Caravan series provides a home away from home for Mali’s now defunct famous festival as we stand in solidarity with these artists. The Vanguard series presents contemporary artists who push boundaries and take music in modern directions. This is Our Music series presents jazz artists influenced by the cultural movements in jazz with other international music forms.
