Power U envisions a society free from all forms of oppression in which decisions are made democratically and resources are utilized for the collective benefit of everyone. Toward that vision, our mission is to organize and develop the leadership of Black and Latino youth and Black women in South Florida so that they may help lead the struggle to liberate all oppressed people.

Reproductive and Restorative Justice
Our program has three main long term goals: 1) Our base of Black and Latino youth and Black women have increased political power to advance policies for racial, economic, and reproductive justice; 2) Significantly more women and individuals throughout Miami-Dade and Florida have access to quality reproductive education and health; 3) Local and state budgets divest from the Prison Industrial Complex in order to make massive reinvestments in healthcare, education, and community building initiatives like restorative justice.
