Presented by the music theater NWSA High School students, Sweet Charity (Book by Neil Simon) explores the turbulent love life of Charity Hope Valentine, a hopelessly romantic but comically unfortunate dance hall hostess in New York City. With tuneful score by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Dorothy Fields, and book by Neil Simon, Sweet Charity captures the all the energy, humor, and heartbreak of Life in the Big City for an unfortunate but irrepressible optimist.

New World School of the Arts continues its 30th Year celebration during Art Basel with its coveted al fresco exhibition in the heart of Wynwood, presented by NWSA college visual artists. "It is a kaleidoscopic cacophony of high-brow Kitsch where a collaboration of students and faculty from the NWSA BFA program create a site-specific installation and social experience through the structure of a garden party within the confines of the Yard@Casalin," explained artist and NWSA faculty member Donald Lambert , who co-directs this exhibition during the nation's most recognized art fair in Miami.
