The Miami Science Barge is a floating environmental innovation center that catalyzes the effort to build a sustainable Miami. The Barge delivers K-12 STEM education and public sustainability initiatives that showcase Miami’s unique ecology while providing a forum for planning the city’s future. Organized content onboard the barge includes field trips, seminars, apprenticeships, interactive workshops, and artistic and cultural events that strengthen our community’s resolve to become one of the most ecologically advanced cities of the 21st century.
