10 Grand Pianos Series
Miami Piano Circle annually programs 10-piano (simultaneously!) shows including 10 Grands at the Opera!, American Grands, and our most recently commissioned Miami Grands, specifically inspired by Miami culture and geography. All are originally composed/arranged works featuring ten grand pianos tiered on three different levels of the Mainstage of the New World Center in Miami Beach, for optimal visual and acoustic effect. All ten performers are renowned Miami-based pianists, all with international concertizing experience performing under the baton of Miami-based conductor Georgi Danchev. Our Miami-born shows are complemented by video, photography, and other design elements projected onto the sails above the New World Center mainstage. Featured on local PBS, Telemundo, Channel 10, and broadcast on over 120 radio stations across the country after making the Classical Top 24 Syndicated List, our shows yield large, enthusiastic audiences.
Piano in the Parks
Piano in the Parks is a 3-segment outdoor evening concert beginning with a classical program (1 hour), progressing to a jazz interlude (1 hour), and ending with an exciting tango/latin pop fusion program (1 hour) of violin and piano duo. Performed on the east wall of the New World Center in SoundScape Park, the setup features a grand piano and lighting design elevated onto a stage with amplification and microphones. The relaxed environment makes it easy for audiences to come and go as they please with pets, children, picnic baskets, etc., without the restrictions of an indoor concert environment. Enjoy the ambience of quality professional music without sacrificing the beautiful Miami evenings outdoors!
Klezmer Project Miami
Klezmer Miami Project is a professional chamber ensemble consisting of piano, accordion, bass, and violin. The ensemble is a unique blend of ethnic, urban and folk rhythms and tunes, infusing a retro Miami feel with elements of tango, latin and jazz built on a Klezmer basis. This originally arranged repertoire is both vintage and modern, representative of the geographic region of South Florida.
