Miami Lyric Opera (MLO) is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization founded in December 2005 to offer the Miami-Dade community and public at large, opera and classical music productions which maintain the dignity and tradition of the medium while providing excellent artistic content and consistent, accessible prices. MLO creates performance opportunities for young artists to perform in partnership with more experienced performers. Further, the organization strives to promote, diffuse and educate a large public spectrum - including young generations - on the beauty and tradition of the Opera.
Five operas production per year and 12 Performances
Opera in 3 Acts music by Giacomo Puccini. A love story in times of political changes in Rome of 18th Century under the invasion of Napoleon in Italy controlled by the King of Naples.
The opera has a fatal end with the execution of one of the key characters.
