Miami Jewish Health strives to provide compassionate healthcare through a full range of quality services, guided by research and education, honoring traditional Jewish values of dignity and respect. Our vision is to continue being an innovative leader in healthcare, promoting longer, healthier, more enriched lives.
The Mental Health and Memory Center is considered a leader in the research, diagnosis, education and treatment of Alzheimer’s and other memory disorders. The center provides outstanding healthcare services to patients and their families.
Recognized as one of the American Pain Society’s first “Centers of Excellence,” the Rosomoff Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center® at Miami Jewish Health Systems® is an internationally renowned facility, dedicated to treating patients with chronic and complex pain.
The Music Therapy Program provides individual and group music-therapy services to "The Home's" residents, tenants and PACE participants. The mere opening lines of a song can trigger countless memories from decades ago or prompt the recollection of priceless events in one's lifetime, all of which may be locked away and never released if not for the incredible power that music has to recover what was once lost.
The Memory Center
Leading the way in Alzheimer’s care and research is our one-of-a-kind Memory Center. Marc E. Agronin, M.D., Vice President of Behavioral Health and Clinical Research, and his team provide a complete range of services for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, memory disorders, and associated mood and behavior disturbances. Over five million Americans have Alzheimer’s and an estimated 700,000 people in the United States age 65 or older will die from the disease annually. Your generosity will increase
research, treatment, and care of those afflicted, as well as provide education and support to their loved ones and caregivers.
The Rosomoff Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center
The Rosomoff Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center treats patients with complex and chronic pain. With more than 30,000 patients to date, the Rosomoff Center helps patients live pain and narcotic free through rehabilitative and integrative care. The biofeedback division offers innovative programs for adults with spinal cord injuries and children with cerebral palsy. Join us by making a gift to ease the pain and help improve the outcomes of our youngest and our most vulnerable patients.
Love on Wheels
Love on Wheels is a vital, on-campus transportation program that turns ordinary days into extraordinary days, enriching the lives of our elderly residents and allowing them to participate in a full roster of events and activities. These programs are specially designed to promote companionship, and physical and mental improvement. Your gift will allow additional staff and volunteers to help our wheelchair-bound residents.
The Music Therapy program provides individual and group music therapy to our residents, patients, and daycare participants. Drumming sessions, iPods, disco parties, outdoor guitar lessons, and family style “sing-alongs” are used by therapists to reduce stress, provide a calmer living environment, and bring happiness and wellness to our community. Your sponsorship will allow us to increase the number of classes offered and provide equipment.
Florida PACE Centers
Florida PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) Center focuses on improving the quality of life for nursing-home eligible seniors by providing a vast array of person-centered care services that are customized to address all the needs of the participant while they live safely in the community.
