MINTS International Seminary-in-Prison
MINTS International Seminary-in-Prison uses degree programs in theological studies to educate and train prisoner/students to become pastors and missionaries to other prisoners offering hope through Christ for a transformed life.
Associate, Bachelor, and Master’s degrees are available at no cost to the students.
Establishing a New Study Center
MINTS sets up study centers which grow into seminaries. Each new center generally requires two visits to become established. The first visit reviews with the nationals the administrative structure and requirements, re-emphasizes the philosophy, and teaches the first course. The second visit generally comes 12 months later to double check on the standards, evaluate the schools progress, give counsel, and teach another course.
MINTS Annual Fund
The MINTS Annual Fund supports the MINTS International Seminary current year operating expenses. MINTS Annual Fund gifts make up the difference between specific designated donations and the actual cost of running the global seminary mission. Such gifts are usually unrestricted and allow the seminary to spend whatever is needed most. Like a checking account the MINTS Annual Fund pays for:
• Financial statement accounting fees
• Technology and equipment costs
• Financial aid packages for needy students
• Maintaining compliance with the nonprofit 501(c)(3) IRS requirements
• Corporate Governance Costs
