Community Diaper Drives
Diaper Drives are a great way for the community to get involved and collect diapers for low-income and homeless families in the South Florida area. The Miami Diaper Bank assists in organizing community diaper drives as well as diaper collection and distribution.
In September 2017, Hurricane Irma hurled through South Florida causing widespread flooding, scattered debris and left many families without power for weeks. Supporting babies and families with diaper need during tough times is our number one priority so we committed 100% of all donations received from September 10, 2017 - October 31, 2017 to purchasing diapers to families affected by the devastating natural disaster. With the help of incredible community partners and other nonprofits providing aid and services to families in crisis we donated over 1,000,000 diapers to families throughout the recovery process. We are so touched by the kindness and generosity of donors from across the country who came together to support our community.
One For Babies
We are inviting all of South Florida to join us in being #OneForBabies. Inspired by the motto “small change, affects big change,” we understand first hand that an act of kindness or generosity can make a world of a difference to someone else. Join our #OneForBabies campaign and either donate or fundraise $100 in the duration of one year to support our mission. A $100 donation for the year comes out to be as simple as $0.28 per day, $1.93 per week, $8.35 per month.
Community Hero Box
Become a Community Hero by helping us host a one-year diaper collection box at your business, office, school, or organization. We will provide the custom made donation box so you and your community can make baby diapers and wipes donations all year around. Help us continue to keep underprivileged South Florida babies clean, dry and healthy.
Miami Diaper Bank School Leaders
We are inviting children to become ambassadors at their school and help organize diaper drives in exchange for community service hours.
