Miami Beach Botanical Garden's mission is to provide free public access to a subtropical botanical oasis. We offer environmental programs for all ages, preserve a habitat for native plants and pollinators, and provide visitors with a peaceful place to relish in nature. Our year round calendar of cultural programs inspires the artist in all of us, from music, visual arts and performances. Visitors come from around the world and around the block.
It's been quite a year of great programing and activities for the community. The Garden has prevailed from last year's hurricane thanks to friends with funds and lots of care and hard work. Please help make it possible to offer more educational and fun experiences in our Miami Beach Tropical Oasis.

Art in the Park with Marie
4/3
Marie Kolbert is a licensed pre-school teacher in her home country of Sweden, where she has been involved in arts her whole life. After playing soccer for the National Team in Sweden, she arrived in the U.S. on a soccer scholarship at Lynn University in Boca Raton in 1996. There she received her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Design. In 2000, she moved to Miami Beach where she still resides.
Marie has been hosting her Art in the Park program at public parks around the city, and now the Miami Beach Botanical Garden welcomes Marie on the last Sunday of every month (unless a date change is indicated in the online calendar).
Art plays an important role in children's lives, and this free program will give your children a chance for their creativity to soar! Toddlers up to eight year olds will enjoy creating something new each month out in the lawn under the shade of the Banyan tree. Supplies included, just bring your imagination!
