Little Revolt offers participatory theater and art programs to children, adults and seniors in south Florida communities, schools, and senior centers. Our mission is to provide community learning opportunities in theater and the arts. We foster creativity and develop skills and strengths among children and adults, including under-served populations, through outreach, learning workshops, hands-on participation, and performance; this also includes focusing on work that is part of student curricula. Programming includes Shakespeare's Birthday Celebration, family storytelling (Stories and Shakes), Community Shakespeare Workshops, In-School Classical Theater Residencies, Encore Programs for older adults (such as theater workshops at senior centers), and more. We believe that participating in theater and art can make our lives better, communities brighter and schools stronger. We think everyone ought to have the opportunity to create theater. Our motto is: Theater for the people, by the people, and of the people.
