"Broken Voices" Town Hall
Our annual "Broken Voices" Town Hall is held in February during Hit-and-Run Awareness Month.
This virtual town hall brings together various stakeholders from the private and public sectors to discuss the issue of hit and runs and identify potential solutions.
"Ride for Gene" Community Safety Day
The "Ride for Gene" began as a commemorative ride to memorialize Dr. Yolanda Samuel's brother, Eugene Green, who was struck and killed on his bike by a hit-and-run driver.
This event brings together community residents along with various stake holders and safety based organizations.
The goal is to raise awareness, but to also amplify the message of safer streets and safer homes.
1 Hour "Flash Spots"
Just an Accident "Flash Spots" are community outreach events held on specific weekends where JAAS members take to the streets of South Florida to share the message of safe driving.
