Reality Check Workshop
This program is geared to our 17-22 year olds who have lost a parent or caregiver and are slated to graduate, have already graduated or did not finish school. We discuss dressing for success, interview tips, resume writing, A CAP advisor is there to guide those still in high school as well as those who did not graduate to assist them in getting back on track.
Say More Session
This program is geared toward 7-13 year old participants to have an open forum to discuss feelings after a loss and to introduce journaling and effective coping skills.
Julias Kids Youth Summit
This event focuses on 5 Components, Hygiene, Loss, Stress, Self Control and Social Media. It is an engaging session where the participants are able to express themselves in a safe environment.
This event is a girls only event where we discuss coping with a loss, how to help someone who is going through a loss and empowerment.
This is an all boys event where young men are encouraged to share their questions and concerns about not having a parent in their lives. The event is facilitated by male therapists.
