Our mission is to strengthen and enhance Haitian American individuals, as well as their family in South Florida by providing opportunities for them to engage in charitable, educational, recreational and community activities along with furthering, educational and social behavior children.
In order to enhance the child's education, teachers interact with their children as well as involve them in classroom activities.
Montessori education is also provided in our learning center. In this type of classroom setting, students learn concepts from working with materials to provide emphasis on independence and freedom within limits
HYCCF, Inc. also contributes to the education of children in Haiti by providing school supplies.
HYCCF, Inc. is committed to helping and supporting the Haitian community in the city of North Miami.
Head Start Program
Head Start is a Federal program for preschool children from low-income families. The Head Start program is operated by local non-profit organizations in almost every county in the country. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities. They also receive free medical and dental care, have healthy meals and snacks, and enjoy playing indoors and outdoors in a safe setting.
VPK stands for the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program. VPK classrooms offer high-quality programs that include high literacy standards, developmentally appropriate curriculum, manageable class sizes, and qualified teachers.
School Readiness Program
This program is to provide children with the appropriate skills for school. The child learns to develop their cognitive, emotional, and social skills.
