Friends of North Beach [FONB] is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation run entirely by parent volunteers. The group was formed by a small group of parents in 1994 who were committed to make the educational and social experiences of all students at North Beach Elementary School the best it can be.
Over the last 21 years, FONB has grown to involve many parents and finance amazing programs because of the dedication, generosity and financial support of donors such as yourself. With your help, we want to continue to fund innovative programs that make North Beach Elementary School unique among public schools.
Please help raise money for our public school by donating to Friends of North Beach Elementary for Give Miami Day on November 17, 2016. Thank you!
Friends of North Beach was formed over 20 years ago to enhance the educational experience of each child by funding additional teachers, support staff, and innovative programs in our school. With your help, we want to continue the Friends legacy of funding these innovative programs that make North Beach Elementary unique among public schools. Please support the cause, donate to your child's education and become a 'Friend'!
Friends of North Beach Elementary
The purpose of Friends of North Beach is to enhance the educational experience of each child by funding additional teachers, support staff, and innovative programs in our school. In the primary grades, Friends will fund additional support staff to allow our teachers to focus on instruction while providing assistance to all students. In the intermediate grades, Friends will fund extended programs in Technology, Science, and Reading.
These programs give children hands on learning experience while reinforcing lessons learned in class. Through the commitment and generosity of our parents, the organization is able to finance these programs.
