Everglades Angels Dog Rescue is a Non Profit 100% Volunteer organization. Our Mission is to end the suffering of thousands of abandoned dogs in the Everglades.
Our goal is to treat the rescued dogs medically, including sterilization
and microchip identification. Also, to provide psychological training and placement in qualified homes.
Our organization is unique because our dedication
is to all dogs that have no shelter, food, and no chance of survival. We seek out the tortured, sick and debilitated dogs,
in the most remote areas of Florida. Everglades Angels Dog Rescue solely survives on donations, please help us spread our mission.
Scotty's story: Found tied to a tree weighing in at 27 pounds. With love and care, he thrived and is now in a loving home.
Bailey is our little miracle boy. Bailey was rescued on Jan 3, 2016 off the streets of Miami where he suffered immeasurable acts of cruelty. Weighing in at only 19 pounds, his little frail body was failing, he was so anemic that he needed 2 emergency blood transfusions to save his life, he was covered in painful mange and was suffering from a severe spinal cord injury.
Bailey's journey has not been an easy one and he still has a long road ahead of him. Everglades Angels Dog Rescue made a promise to him that we would not give up, no matter what it took. He is now in a loving home.
He is BAILEY STRONG!
Athena, found tied to a fence. This poor girl was so emaciated and neglected. Her nails were literally curling under. She is now is a loving family and enjoying life for the first time.
Scotty was tied to a tree and left for dead. He was 27 pounds when he was rescued, today he is over 60 pounds. He is happy and healthy and so loved.
Our poor April, abused beyond words, the pain this poor girl has endured is horrific. From human abuse to being used as a bait dog. The past is now behind her and she is in the care of our rescue, getting lots of love and attention from our volunteers. She is waiting for her forever home.
Our Big Louie was found in the Everglades, emaciated and with bite wounds all over him. He is a gentle giant who made a full recovery and now in a loving home where he is so spoiled!
We deliver food and medical supplies to locals to help feed the abandoned dogs until we have the funds and space to physically rescue them.
