The Dave and Mary Alper Jewish Community Center is committed to enriching the lives of all members of our community by encouraging responsible citizenship and leadership. The JCC's mission is to enhance the quality of life through programming and community involvement. The Alper JCC offers counseling services, group services, formal and informal education, cultural, social and recreational programs for all age groups.
The Alper JCC recently hosted the 2017 JCC Maccabi Games & ArtsFest, a week-long athletic and artistic competition with 1,474 visiting Jewish teens and coaches, plus their parents and dignitaries, all housed in our community. Early Childhood Development Center is a preschool for ages 6 weeks - 5 years; is A.P.P.L.E. Accredited, Five-Star Rated and Gold Seal Award-winning voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Provider.
Ages 13 months- 14 years; Awarded Gold Crown for Excellence by South Florida Parenting Magazine. Voted Best Summer Camp by Nickelodeon Parents' Pick Awards. Also includes special needs children, and children sponsored by The Children's Trust.
After School Program
Provides transportation for grades K-8 from neighborhood schools. Offers mini-camps on no-school holidays.
Shirley & Chester Paul Special Needs Program
A dynamic program for children, teens and adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Includes Jerusalem Club for Special Needs Adults and Clayton Feig Teen and Young Adults Club.
