The Daniel Lewis Miami Dance Sampler celebrates the strength and diversity of the Miami dance scene in an exciting season preview of Miami's established companies and choreographers. Produced in collaboration with the New World School of the Arts, Florida Dance Education Organization, Miami Dance Hub and Miami Dance Futures.
This program occurs annually in October.

South Florida's leading contemporary dance company kicks off its 19th season, bringing their unique style of relevant, meaningful and impactful dance to the stage in their trademark sinewy, poetic, athletic and graceful style.
The evening will include NEW VOICES initiative, featuring emerging choreographer and Miami Native Son Christopher Rudd in a world Premiere on the company, and the revival of Artistic Directors Salterini & Baumgarten’s critically acclaimed homage to Autumn, “Random Patterns of Falling Leaves.” The evening will also include Salterini’s “Melody in Four Parts: Just Travelling,” a metaphysical journey from birth to death and the beyond, with an original score by Ohio composer Jenny Bernard Merkowitz and text from Seattle based poet Janée Baugher, and “Grace” a world premiere from director Baumgarten, bringing a female Jewish perspective to her work, celebrating the rich history of Jewish women

Dance NOW! Miami, South Florida's leading contemporary dance company returns to Aventura Arts & Cultural Center for its fourth season, bringing its unique style of relevant, meaningful and impactful dance to the stage in their trademark sinewy, poetic, athletic and graceful style. The evening will feature Terra Mia, the company's homage to Co-Director Salterini's homeland, as they embark on a two-year cultural exchange, exploring the intersection of the Italy Salterini left 20 years ago and the country of today.
World Dance Summer Intensive

The World Dance Summer Intensive program focuses on preparing young dancers for the work of the future pushing them mentally, physically, and emotionally and creating bonds that last a lifetime! WDSI fosters an appreciation of Miami’s rich cultural tapestry and the common thread of humanity that binds us all as one community.
This program is an opportunity for young dancers to acquire new technical skills and expand their understanding of dance as a well-rounded and culturally diverse art form. Students will work closely with professional instructors from Miami who are affiliated with the nation’s most renowned arts institutions including Joffrey Ballet School of New York and Interlochen Arts Academy. Classes include: Ballet, Modern Dance, Jazz or Contemporary, West African and Afro Haitian and Yoga/Yogadance provided through teachers from Dance NOW! Miami, as well as DNM partners ATMA YogaDance Company, Delou Africa Dance Ensemble, and Tradisiyon Lakou Lakay Haitian Dance Company.
