WholeProject is a contemporary classical dance company under the choreographic direction of Brigid Baker who uses movement principles based on Lightbody. Creations are collaborative efforts that combine the use of environmental installations, dance, music and film. The music and images are high-tech/low tech fabrications. WholeProject currently collaborates with musician and sound engineer Justin Trieger, and artist collective Sound and Vision, as well as with a wide selection of urban artists and visual artists.
TruSchool Hip Hop

TruSchool is our young people's fundamentals programming for hip hop and ballet.
The hip hop program is based on the original Universal Zulu Nation tenets of peace, love, unity, right living and having fun. We offer the fundamentals of breakdancing and popping mentored by crew members old and new who come together each Friday night; class includes the all important cypher. TruSchool hiphop is free and open to all ages and sponsors practices, battles, peewee battles and performances in collaboration with musicians, video artists and WholeProject.
Young People's Programs are based on deep artistic intention and principles. The goal is to introduce and marinate young people in the inspiring sophisticated soul of art. They are free to all who come. This program is sponsored in part by a Knight Arts Challenge grant.
HomeGown

The HomeGrown Program is a residency program designed for young professional dancers and musicians of all kinds to encourage the organic growth of a cohesive artistic identity for Miami. It is fostered by intentional proximity, diversity, consistency of study and diversity in forms. By providing space and an instructor, artists come together on a weekly basis. This program is sponsored in part by a grant from the Knight Arts Challenge grant and from the Green Family Foundation
TruSchool Young People's Ballet and Tap

TruSchool Young People's ballet program is taught by ballerina Emily Ricca and offers the fundamentals of classical ballet and creative movement to our young people. The unique program approach includes frequent performances in which the students perform pieces on a program with professional dancers. TruScholl ballet program is also a free program.
TruSchool Young People's tap program is taught by Nadina Liberatore and offers the fundamentals of tap. the tap program also engages in frequent performances with the ballet program students.

Afro/Cuban with master teacher Marisol Blanco

Marisol Blanco master teacher and graduate of Cuban’s prestigious Superior Institute of Arts (ISA) bachelor dance teacher and The National School of Arts (ENA) professional dancer. She has her home at 6th Street Dance Studio and offers classes in Yoruba Afro/Cuban, Drumming and Rhumba for all levels. We hope to add this program to the TruSchool Young People's Program.
