Crime Prevention & Legal Services
Dade Legal Aid is a nonprofit law firm dedicated to providing a safety net of free civil legal services to multi-generational low income individuals, children, women, families and nonprofits in need. Dedicated staff attorneys specialize in the areas of child and teen advocacy, family law, domestic violence, sexual assault, human sex trafficking, name change, guardianship, housing, bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, nonprofits and startups. Put Something Back, "PSB," the pro bono program, is the clearinghouse for volunteer lawyers seeking to find fulfilling ways to give back to the community. The program relies on attorney volunteers, law firm sponsors and donations to handle thousands of cases through PSB, the official pro bono program of the circuit. PSB recruits, trains, supports and sustains pro bono attorneys who handle pre-screened income eligible clients in need in all areas of law.
