Dade Legal Aid is a non profit law firm dedicated to providing a safety net of free civil legal services to multi-generational low income individuals, children, women, families and others in need in Miami-Dade County. Experienced Staff Attorneys specialize in the areas of child and teen advocacy, family law, domestic violence, sexual assault, guardianship, housing, bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, nonprofits and startups. Priority goes to family stabilization, the protection of children, victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and to other vulnerable individuals and groups. The program's pro bono department relies on individual attorney and law firm volunteers to handle 1000's of cases through Put Something Back, the official pro bono program of Miami-Dade County, which pairs volunteer attorneys and firms with clients in need in all areas of law who are unable to be served elsewhere.
