The mission of Community Arts and Culture is to foster appreciation and understanding of a vast assortment of arts and cultures by educating individuals of all ages and social backgrounds through workshops, lectures and artistic performances in local communities. Community Arts and Culture strives to provide underserved areas with an outlet to participate in outreach programs and to nurture an array of local artists who exemplify the diversity found in the South Florida community.

Afro Roots World Music Festival
For more than 17 years, the Afro Roots World Music Festival has celebrated the evolution of African culture by featuring some of the best performers from all over the Caribbean, the Americas and African countries such as Senegal, the Ivory Coast, Guinea, Mali and the Republic of Congo.
This global connection through the universal language of music has helped the festival evolve into one of Miami's most culturally diverse events.
We have expanded the festival to a three day format and hosted the first World Music Conference with panels, lectures and workshops by some of the top professionals and artists from the world music industry.
Children's Programming and satellite events build up the momentum in the week leading up to the main event.
A Day at the Beach Concert Series
A Day at the Beach is an on-going concert series featuring some of the hottest national, regional and local acts, dedicated to fostering an appreciation and understanding of a vast assortment of musical genres. This program also allows for youth groups to participate by serving as opening acts to the headliners.
Concerts For Social Change
These concerts will be presented in cooperation with the City of Doral and the Village of Islamorada. We will be focusing on the subject of raising awareness of the encroachment of development on the Everglades and partnering with local environmental groups to provide information and opportunities to effect a shift towards sustainability.
