The Youth of Valor Empowerment (Y.O.V.E.) is a Leadership Development/After School Program of the Ladies of Valor Empowerment (L.O.V.E.), a 501 c3, non profit organization, in Miami Dade County, Haitian American community, with a mission to mentor, develop and equipp underprivileged teenage high school girls to lead themselves with confidence and integrity, to become college bound, career focus, to develop their potentials and ready to join the next generation of women leaders for tomorrow.

The Youth of Valor Empowerment (Y.O.V.E.) presents Obesity prevention in collaboration with our collaborator Johnson & wales University, North Miami Campus. The Culinary Art session presented on Campus, where the girls are placed in the kitchen with Student Chefs to learn how to prepare very healthy meals on a low budget from start to finish, every session.
The Youth of Valor Empowerment (Y.O.V.E) was invited to attend in the Company of Woman Award with the Miami Dade County Commission for Women at Coral Gables Country Club; the Y.O.V.E.S with their Class A Uniform for formal event with their Founder, Lady Alourdes Pierre, in celebration of National women's History. Their attendance is to raise awareness of the many accomplishments of women throughout history and how to present themselves with confidence when dealing with the general public..
The Y.O.V.E. teenage girls attended the L.O.V.E. Empowers in Celebration of Women's History Celebration, a community event hosted by the Founder Lady Alourdes Pierre in North Miami; the Y.O.V.E.S presented special appreciation to the Guest Panelists at the L.O.V.E. Empowers, at the North Miami Library. The guest Panelists were, Dr. M. Harrisson, President Miami Dade Coleges, North Campus, Attorney Patricia Joseph, First Lady City of North Miami and First Hispanic American, Former Director Miami Dade Corrections, Ms. Marydell Guevarra; this event was very educational, motivational and empowering for women and youth in the community.
The Y.O.V.E.S dressed for empowerment and attended the Power of Love Event hosted by the Ladies of Valor Empowerment (L.O.V.E.), annual fundraising; they learned the importance of dressing appropriately for every occasion. The Y.O.V.E.S are treated like Princesses by the Founder of the Y.O.V.E. Program, each Y.O.V.E. wore professional related attire with a crown over their head.
The Y.O.V.E.S attended the Annual No Broken Heart, Domestic Violence Conference, hosted by Dr. D. Mindingall, Vice-Chair, Miami Dade County School Board. To raise awareness about the danger of Domestic Violence in High School and in Society, and how it can affect their lives that may even include death..
The Y.O.V.E. Wellness Initiative is a program of the Ladies of Valor Empowerment (L.O.V.E.) for young girls, the wellness initiative supports and promotes the whole health of the girls, using a philosophy which recognizes that many factors, including physical and mental wellness, contribute to girls' health. Y.O.V.E. provides a positive youth development approach to equipping girls with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and support for maintaining a positive sense of self and for being healthy today and throughout their lives.
The Y.O.V.E. Economic Literacy is a program of the Ladies of Valor Empowerment (L.O.V.E.) for young girls, Y.O.V.E. girls learn how to earn, save, spend, and share money are critical economic concepts essential to the future success of the girls. They gain the knowledge of economic and financial literacy. Prepares them for entering the world of work by helping them examine topics such as attitudes and values about money, career strategies, economic justice and workers' rights, paycheck deductions, responsible use of credit and avoiding predatory lenders, renting vs. buying, and investing
Leadership Development & Group Mentoring
The Y.O.V.E. Leadership Development and Motivation is a program of the Ladies of Valor Empowerment (L.O.V.E.) for young girls, statistics show that children, including teenagers, with positive role models in their lives tend to make better choices. Important to the success of the mentors who provide guidance to the young girls. Mentors share their personal experiences and help guide the Y.O.V.E. girls to a healthy and happy future.

Dress for Empowerment-Image Coaching-Etiquette
The Dress for Empowerment addresses the importance of proper dressing as it relates to the public. The girls learn to appreciate behaviors beyond clothing choices that contribute to a positive self-image including body language, vocal tones and personal habits.
