Centro Cultural Español de Cooperación Iberoamericana, Inc. (CCEMiami) was founded in 1996. Organized for charitable, educational, artistic, and cultural purposes as set forth in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code that aims to promote and foster cultural cooperation, local creativity and the creation of a space for dialogue and exchange by means of a culturally relevant and continuous annual program.
Our mission is to promote the social, human and economic development in South Florida through the cultural exchange of institutions and creators from Spain, Latin America and Miami providing a platform for dialogue and education for the city. CCEMiami will pay particular attention to those groups which have limited access to culture, always inspired by the principle of freedom and respect for cultural diversity.
Our space is a multidisciplinary venue that provide performing arts, visual arts, music, film, educational programs, film, literature and conferences.

Arts and Culture
CCEMiami’s unrelenting commitment to presenting constant quality cultural programming for over two decades.
CCEMiami will continue to offer visual art exhibitions; educational lectures imparted by scholars and expertise related with the theme of the current exhibition; seminars and performing arts projects which include dance, theater and music recitals.
A program that pays homage to flamenco in all its disciplines and brings to the community of Miami the best of nowadays flamenco artists to approach the richness of this culture with an emphasis on educational programs.
This program takes places once a year during the month of May.
An innovative and pivotal project that has changed the theatre scene in Miami. A patio, 7 shipping containers, more than 80 original plays per year with over 60,000 visitors.
CCEMiami works hand in hand with the local art scene, believing in its creativity and talent.
ACERCA is a training program for professionals for the development in the cultural sector involving Latin America, Europe and USA. This includes workshops such us acting, directing, playwright, setting design and lighting.
CCEMiami works with alliances, collaborating, locally and internationally, with an extensive network of cultural partners.
Educational programs oriented towards seniors and children
- General culture workshops that change according to the theme of the exhibition we have at the moment. Two Mondays a month.
- Musicare, a permanent program consisting in free dance lessons for members guided by a dance teacher. Once a month.
-Peña locos y bajitos - special program in which kids learn about books, painting, Music. With writer and editor Andres Pi Andreu and guest artists. One Saturday a month.
-Field trips with public schools that come to our exhibitions for guided visits.
