Homebuyer/Homeowner Solutions (HHS)
CCFC provides counseling in combination with group workshops to educate and prepare clients to make informed and reasonable decisions to achieve their financial and housing goals.
CCFC housing counselors provide assistance and recommendations with respect to promotion and preservation of homes.
YouthPride provides after-school services to children ages 5 to 15 enrolled in Title 1 schools within the Florida City and Homestead communities. Our program is designed to promote school enthusiasm, increase school participation, academic success, and parental knowledge of the Academic Operational Procedures.
O.P.E.N.D.O.O.R.S. prepares clients for today's workforce through skill-building and job training, leading to full-time employment with potential for career advancement. It offers a recruitment service for employers free of charge that focuses on matching employees' skills with job openings offered by companies.
The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) assists low-income families whose unweatherized homes consume high amounts of energy. WAP provides weatherization services to those in need using the latest technologies for home energy upgrades. Since the program began in 1976, the Department of Energy has helped improve the lives of more than 7 million families by reducing their energy bills. Repairs are made at no cost to homeowners or tenants.
Program provides clients with information and tools that help them take concrete steps to improving their financial lives. They will learn how to budget, increase savings, manage debt to avert any crisis, handle unexpected events, and how to adopt and engage in healthy financial habits which motivate clients to reach their long-term goal:
Help consumers identify their financial goals, to teach consumers to steps in financial planning, and to develop knowledgeable consumers who can make wise financial choices based on their income and expenses

Teach consumer how to set up a saving plan and open a saving account as well as the benefits of investing, difference between saving and investing, basic investment strategies and terms, strategies for reducing spending and increasing income
3: Bank and other financial Institutions
Teach consumer how to shop for financial institutions and financial products: Bank products and services, how to read bank statements and balance a checkbook, on-line banking, overdraft and fees
Teach consumers about the wise use of credit: key points- Basics of lending, what is credit, pros and cons of credit, importance of good credit, how to obtain a credit report, credit report and corrections, establishing and improving credit, how interest works, and basic of credit cards
Inform consumers about how taxes affect financial plan, and how insurance protects against potential losses
