Bridge2Excellence is one of the only non-profits of its kind in Miami, advocating for low income, special needs kids in school. We get the neediest kids in society what they need to succeed in school and life.
This video profiles a child who has a typical profile of our clients.
This video explains how learning disabilities impact students and how we help them achieve more.
Young children regardless of their backgrounds have the same dreams to achieve.
All children want see and do new things even if their parents don't have the income to travel.
We're there for girls and boys who are being harassed and bullied in school!
We advocate for disabled students and their families primarily in Miami's African-American inner-city. Our clients are very low-income and typically have struggled academically for years. Often their parents have tried to advocate for their kid's needs but their requests have been ineffective. We know how to make effective requests and bring resources and expertise to help the unique needs of each of our clients.
We advocate for our clients in-person at school meetings with district administrators and parents in the lowest income and most isolated areas of Miami. And we've successfully improved the futures of so many children, but need your donations to do even more!
Student Victims of Sexual Harassment and Bullying
We advocate for student victims of sexual harassment and attacks in public schools. Our clients are very low-income survivors of sexual attacks occurring during the school day. School districts are often deliberately indifferent to these victims and we help get their needs (emotional, psychological, academic and legal) met.
