Please gather the following materials:
Organization Details: Basic information about your organization including address, email, logo and mission statement.
Images + Video: Up to two videos and 10 images that reflect the work of your organization. Complete profiles must include at least one image and description. It is strongly recommended to only upload 1-2 photos in a single session; additional photos can be added later.
Programs: Brief descriptions of the programs your organization provides, including the geographic area(s) served for inclusion on our nonprofit map (currently in development). Complete profiles must include at least one program.
Board + Staff: Listed members of your organization's board of trustees and staff. If your board members have online professional bios, include URLs to provide visitors more information. Complete profiles must include at least your board chair and executive director/CEO's name and information.
Financials: PDF versions of your organization's budget, FL Dept of Agriculture & Consumer Services Certificate of Solicitation, most recent Form 990 and IRS Letter of Determination. Include your annual operating budget and Guidestar profile URL, along with other financials for your organization.
Payment Information: The Foundation will send payments made through Nonprofit Central via electronic (ACH) transfer*. This information will not be made public. Complete profiles must include bank name, ACH routing number, account number, and a voided check (PDF file only).
*All gifts will be paid on a monthly basis to the selected organizations net of credit card and transaction fees paid directly to credit card merchants and Kimbia, The Miami Foundation's site host. Transaction fees are estimated at 4.99 - 5.50%. The Miami Foundation, which administers Nonprofit Central, supports this community resource at no additional charge.
After entering all information and clicking 'Save Changes,' The Miami Foundation will review your submission to ensure your form is complete and accurate, and that your organization is eligible to appear on Nonprofit Central.
Once a profile is created, it may be updated as often as desired, with a minimum requirement of once a year for eligibility in Give Miami Day.
